General Properties and Specifications of Topiramate:
Appearance: White to off-white powder or crystals.

Melting Point: 125C to 126C. literature.
Solubility: Solubility in water of 9.8 mg/mL. Soluble in most alkaline solutions containing sodium hydroxide or sodium phosphate and having a pH of 9 to 10. It is freely soluble in acetone, chloroform, dimethylsulfoxide, and ethanol.
